Cavalieri, Chiesa schedules pre-season friendlies: three "candidate" teams

Prato, 17 June 2025 - A couple of friendly tests, to be played next September, when it will be time to refine the preparation in view of the start of the 2025/26 Serie A championship. This is what coach Alberto Chiesa has in mind, to prepare his Cavalieri Union for what will have to be the season of redemption.
Starting from what, to date, should be the last friendly in chronological order: on September 27 or 28, a test with Parma should be held. A real “rugby day”, probably to be played in Emilia, which in the intentions of the promoters should involve both the first team and the U18 team: it should be the youngsters who open the dance, to then leave the field to the “seniors”.
By then, however, captain Puglia and his teammates should have already played two more games in the same event: the coach's desire is to organize a match with Florence and Livorno for September 20 , at the Montano on Viale Galilei, for which work on the new synthetic pitch is almost complete. "The idea is to play a couple of friendlies," Chiesa confirmed, "and perhaps conclude with a "family" match, if necessary. We are waiting for the pitch, so that we can better plan the season. And we hope that the delivery will arrive as quickly as possible."
